The accommodation gives the feel of a warm and welcoming farm cottage which has been lovingly furnished to offer all the comforts of modern living whilst retaining original character such as flagstone flooring and exposed stone walls. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring both Somerset and Dorset and nestled on National Route 26 of the National Cycle Network. The surrounding area offers delightful rural walks with the nearby Norman church and the pretty village of East Coker beloved by T. S. Elliot. The Jurassic Coast with its fossil rich beaches and coves is also close by. The property is conveniently placed for exploring the surrounding attractions such as the Fleet Air Arm Museum. For those wishing to travel a little further afield the popular attraction of Cheddar Gorge with its impressive underground caves caverns and extraordinary formations is an hour s drive away and well worth a visit. The bustling market town of Yeovil is 4 miles away with a wealth of bars and restaurants to choose from along with plenty of shops should you wish to partake in a little retail therapy. There are many National Trust properties in the surrounding area the magnificent Montacute House being one.
