At the foot of Kirkstone Pass and in a beautiful conservation area above the bustling village of Ambleside, 2 Edinboro is perfectly placed for walkers wishing to get on their boots and get right onto the fells. Direct access from the door of this Lakeland cottage leads to the slopes of Wansfell and her surrounding fell range, the village itself a manageable walk downhill of around 10 minutes. But you dont have to be a walker to holiday here at 2 Edinboro. Ambleside has so much to offer the first time or returning guest that a week may not be enough. Every activity you can think of is on hand, be it walking, cycling and sailing and for those who prefer the more leisurely pursuits of eating, drinking and shopping, the village has an abundance of pubs, restaurants and a wide selection of interesting gift and outdoor shops.
