With breath-taking scenery the ruggedness of Dartmoor is waiting to be explored. Ideal for walkers or for the more adventurous on and off road cycling climbing horse riding Letterboxing or Geocaching. Haytor Rocks 2 miles away is considered to be Dartmoor s most famous landmark. Once you have discovered Dartmoor the delightful South Devon coast beckons with unspoilt beaches. Dawlish Warren part of the Exe estuary is a favourite with wildlife enthusiasts and Teignmouth offers a more traditional seaside experience with its Victorian pier. Brixham approximately 20 miles away is a small but busy fishing town. Sample the seafood take a boat trip or browse the art galleries. Nearby Bovey Tracey has a good selection of shops restaurants and pubs and is home to the Devon Guild of Craftsmen.
