320 ACRES DAIRY SHEEP HORSES CHICKENS Nestling in the shadow of the Blackdown Hills with views of the distant Quantock and Brendon Hills this semi-detached cottage overlooking fields where cows and sheep graze is located on the edge of Sampford Arundel a charming Somerset village that is a conveniently situated for touring the whole of the South West. Guests are welcome to enjoy the 6 acres of undisturbed land that are studded with wildflowers and shelter an abundance of wildlife including deer rabbits foxes badgers and buzzards. Uffculme Woollen Mill is also close by where you can watch the wool being spun into yarns. The area is popular with walkers and cyclists and you will also only be a short drive to a variety of beaches to the north and south. Farm activities: the property is a few minutes walk from the owner s farm where free-range eggs are available. Enjoy a guided tour of the farm watch the milking and when the season is right see the calves lambs and chicks. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Bathroom: with bath separate shower and WC. Lounge: with TV DVD video hi-fi open fire (first basket logs/coal free) and a real effect woodburner for those that prefer this. Dining room: separate. Kitchen: with electric cooker microwave fridge freezer and washer/dryer. Outside: enclosed garden with outside seating and a lockable shed for bikes. Amenities: ample off-road parking.
