A PERFECT SECLUDED RETREAT NESTLING WITHIN A WOODLAND VALLEY Situated in a perfect spot for those who wish to literally get away from it all! Approached by a wooded lane which also leads to the South West Coast Path this beautiful character cottage is hidden within the Marsland Nature Reserve. Delightfully diverse the reserve consists largely of a wooded steep sided valley along with coastal heath and grassland small streams and is rich in wild flowers and wildlife. Initially bought by Christopher Cadbury the beautiful coastal reserve is now a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a haven of peace and tranquillity. Direct from your door is the delightful 0.5 mile walk that leads to the pebble beach of Marsland Cove where the footpath over the stream marks the Cornwall/Devon border or within a short drive is a selection of superb sandy beaches. The area has much to offer with breathtaking scenery rugged coastlines and activities such as horse riding and fishing yet within driving distance to family attractions such as The Milky Way The Big Sheep Clovelly and many picturesque fishing villages to explore. The tastefully furnished split-level accommodation retains much character with wooden floors and wooden latch doors. Arranged over 4 floors with the entrance porch and hall on the first floor offering THREE bedrooms: 1 king-size 1 twin on the ground floor and 1 twin on the top floor. Bathroom: with shower over bath and a separate WC also on the first floor. Shower room on the ground floor. Lounge: a small flight of stairs takes you up to the bright and airy room with large Velux style windows and glimpses of the sea. This comfortable area offers a sofa bed TV DVD freesat hi-fi woodburner (logs included) and a door onto small balcony. Kitchen/diner: leads off from entrance hall and is well-equipped with electric oven and hob fridge/freezer dishwasher microwave and farmhouse-style pine table. A washing machine and tumble dryer are located separately. Outside: large enclosed garden with mature plants and trees patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. Amenities: parking for 1 car with additional parking at the top of the approach lane. Bed linen electric night storage heaters and wi-fi included. Stairgate available.
