SUPERB VIEWS OF HELMSDALE RIVER AND SURROUNDING COUNTRYSIDE A detached stone cottage formerly the shepherd s home has been fully renovated to offer a comfortable and fully equipped stay boasting fantastic views of Helmsdale River and the enchanting countryside surroundings. Set in a wonderfully remote location known as the golden eagle country and great for spotting Scotland s rare and varied wildlife.The Forsinard nature reserve is a short drive away. There are lovely walks river and loch fishing sea angling at Helmsdale a golf course nearby and even gold panning! Links to John O Groats Cape Wrath and the Orkney Islands. The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 1 double and 2 singles. Shower room. Lounge: with open fire and Freeview TV. Dining room: with woodburner. Kitchen: electric oven fridge freezer washing machine and microwave. Outside: enclosed land with trees and shrubs. Amenities: bed linen and towels can be hired electric and solid fuel (extra at current rates). 2 dogs by arrangement but must be kept downstairs and under control near sheep. Additional info: sorry no short breaks. Payphone available. Location: shops 9 miles in Helmsdale. Arrival: 4pm.
