Ideal base for active people who enjoy walking cycling canoeing bird watching or river fishing. For those wanting to relax the surrounding area is tranquil and the scenery is breathtaking. There is direct access to the Tarka Trail (traffic free) and the property is within easy reach of Weare Giffard and Bideford. With private riverside walks and conservation areas (with bird hide) a variety of wildlife may be seen. Many sandy beaches and attractions are close by. Originally part of a 19th century shipyard and adjacent to the entrance of Lord Rolle s Canal being lovingly restored by the owners this property has exposed beams/timbers throughout. The 3 large glazed front doors provide wonderful views across the Torridge Valley. The ground floor is tiled the loft floor and stairs are varnished timber. Outside: enclosed garden with BBQ picnic benches and camp fire meadow area beyond. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen and electric included.
