Golden Square is in the heart of the picturesque town of Tenterden, known as the "Jewel in the Weald". close to the tree-lined High Street with an eclectic range of shops, restaurants, coffee bars and pubs. Just off the High Street, is the restored Tenterden Town Station from where The Kent and East Sussex Railway steams through glorious countryside to Bodiam Castle. Nearby is Smallhythe, the home of Chapel Down Vineyard and the location of Ellen Terry's gorgeous house and barn theatre.. This delightful cottage has been thoughtfully modernised but retains many original features including a wonderful fireplace, fine old beams and wooden floors.
