For garden lovers the cottage is 14 miles drive from the now world famous Eden Project and 2 miles from the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Caerhays Castle gardens and beach are 3.5 miles away and well worth a visit during spring when the gardens are at their best. 6 miles away is Pentewan village and it s large sandy beach where cycle hire is available to explore the cycle routes of the Pentewan Valley alternatively you may wish to hire or buy watersports equipment from Ocean Sports. Mevagissey s picturesque harbour and narrow streets are the perfect setting for a visit with many cafes good restaurants and shops. Truro the regional capital of Cornwall is 17 miles and offers something for even the most discerning guests with a selection of shopping from boutiques to department stores Hall for Cornwall multi-screen cinemas and Cathedral. Charlestown often used as a film set is home to traditional tall ships and Shipwreck Museum as well as many delightful pubs restaurants and shops.
