North Devon s coastline is never far away and Westward Ho! beach is a 5 minute drive offering 2 miles of golden sands popular with bathers and surfers. Horseriding tennis and golf are also available and the National Trust coast path offers breathtaking cliff-top views. Cyclists and ramblers will love the famous disused railway line called The Tarka Trail offering stunning views and wildlife spotting. Away from the coast is the rugged beauty of Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks. Keen golfers can enjoy the nearby championship golf courses at Westward Ho! and Saunton and surfers will love the waves at nearby Westward Ho! as well as Saunton Croyde and Woolacombe.
