Canal Cottage Description
This 19th century deatched farmhouse sleeps eight people in three bedrooms in the village of Whixall in Shropshire.
Canal Cottage was built in the mid 19th century and stands in a lovely rural spot beside the Llangollen canal and the Whixall Moss Nature Reserve. It’s a pretty, detached, brick built farmhouse, on the edge of the strewn village of Whixall. The cottage has some charming original features including quarry tiled floors and old fireplaces and provides warm and cosy holiday accommodation whether you’re visiting as a couple or a family. The pretty and spacious garden is laid to lawn with a patio area for relaxing al fresco wining and dining. You don’t have to venture far to find tranquil canal side walks and invigorating cycle rides, but if you want to, they can take you all the way to Whitchurch or Ellesmere. This is the ideal holiday home for a relaxing break, whatever the season.
