A lovely cottage perfect for couples or small families set in 30 acres of unspoilt countryside and with beautiful fishing lakes on site.

Set in 30 acres of beautiful unspoilt countryside, woodland and meadows, Oaktree Cottages offer an idyllic spot to relax and unwind. Especially perfect for fishing enthusiasts from the most experienced to the absolute beginner, the cottages overlook lakes stocked with good quality fish, and fishing is available all year round. Take a walk around the beautiful lakes in the early morning or late evening and enjoy the abundance of wildlife right on your doorstep. Owls, Kestrels, Buzzards and the resident Kingfishers are all regular visitors to the lakes and you may also catch sight of wonderful Red Deer. Being at the gateway to Exmoor National Park there is always so much to discover, whether walking, cycling or horse riding the stunning landscape with deep wooded valleys and pretty coastal villages is not to be missed. For fabulous days out the spectacular North Devon Coastline is within easy reach and the stunning golden sands of Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe are perfect for lazy days on the beach or surfing the waves. All of the cottages are on one level with easy access, provide excellent facilities and enjoy private patios overlooking the beautiful countryside. Great for all ages to enjoy, a communal games room offers a pool table, table tennis, board games and dart board. A separate room with full size snooker table will keep the adults happy for hours! Day tickets for fishing can be purchased on site together with a good selection of fishing tackle and bait. Fishing tackle hire is also available. Oaktree Cottages all have different designs and sizes to suit your needs, from couples or large family groups, and whichever one you choose you can be assured of quality accommodation with a warm welcome from the owners nearby.

The open plan design at Cuckoos Rest provides a light and airy living room with dining area and attractive light oak fitted kitchen. Perfect for couples or small families and stylishly presented in neutral tones throughout to create a comfortable home from home with attractive bedrooms and modern bathroom with luxury corner bath. To the rear an enclosed patio provides a great space for barbecues or evening drink.

Accommodation: Ground floor: Open plan living room with widescreen digital TV with Freeview and DVD. Kitchen area with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Bedroom 1 with Double. Bedroom 2 with single. Bathroom with bath and fitted power shower over corner bath, WC and basin.
