Ellerslie Cottage is an annexe to imposing Ellerslie House that sits in spectacular parkland grounds, incorporating a swimming pool, tennis court, playground, a maze, an orchard and sweeping lawns down to a lake. Four friendly Alpacas live by the lake too - firm favourites with everyone! It is situated mid-way between Cranbrook and Hawkhurst - Cranbrook has some superb specialist shops, pubs and restaurants and Hawkhurst has a great independent cinema, so there is much to enjoy right on your doorstep. The nearby gardens at Sissinghurst and Pashley Manor are well worth a visit and the seaside is an easy drive. Trains for London (1hr) from Staplehurst 8 miles. Shop: 1 mile Pub: 400 yards Coast: 14 miles

Garden: The owners' beautiful gardens are available for guests to enjoy. Guests also have use of a screened patio area with garden furniture and gas "Outback" barbecue.

Also Provided: Subject to undertaking an induction course, use of a fully equipped gymnasium.
Notes: Swimming pool and tennis courts available on request. Children must be supervised when in the play area and in the main grounds due to the deep, un-fenced ponds and lake. The owners have a friendly dog and two cats in the main house. Due to the steepish stairs the property is not suitable for those with mobility problems or small children/babies.
