The North Yorkshire Moors Steam train which passes opposite the property is a great day out taking you from Whitby to Pickering stopping off at Grosmont and Goathland Heartbeat Country. The charming coastal resorts of Robin Hoods Bay, Runswick Bay and Staithes are perfect for a day out with their quaint cobbled streets and traditional gift shops full of character.
