This is a detached farmhouse with an open fire that sleeps six people in a remote area of County Donegal, less than a mile from the sea.
Located less than half a mile from the sea with stunning views over the Bluestack Mountains, Gortwood Cottage has been converted from a traditional farmhouse into a delightful holiday home for six people across four bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed with en-suite bathroom; there is a twin, also with en-suite facilities, and two single rooms. The sitting room boasts an open fire and seating for five, with another lounge with five seats and an oil fired stove. The village of Mountcharles, with a shop and a pub, is just three miles away and just a little way inland is Donegal Town with its castle and the remains of a Franciscan Abbey, making this the ideal location for a get away from it all holiday.
