Melkington Lodge is a Grade ll listed detached holiday cottage offering single level accommodation in the grounds of a farm estate 1.5 miles from Cornhill-on-Tweed, Northumberland. This self catering retreat is in a quiet location perched on a hill, a quarter of a mile along a shared drive. From the private garden there are uninterrupted views of rolling countryside.

The setting provides easy access for exploring Northumberland attractions including the ancient walled town of Berwick upon Tweed, Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Floors Castles and Alnwick Gardens and Castle.

The local beaches are quiet and unspoilt. For shopping there are excellent bargains to be found in the woollen and cashmere mills in this part of tThe Borders. The holiday retreat is perfect for a golf break, with 18 hole golf courses at Berwick upon Tweed, Coldstream and Kelso. Salmon fishing on the Rivers Tweed and Till can be arranged. The train journey from London King's Cross to Berwick is three hours 45 minutes. Edinburgh airport is one hour 30 minutes. Car hire can be arranged. The nearest pub is one mile.
