Odd Nod Cottage Description
Odd Nod Cottage details
Odd Nod is one of a small group of picturesque thatched cottages lying in the beautiful and peaceful hamlet of Coombe Keynes, a place mentioned in the Domesday Book. The cottage is grade II listed and tastefully restored. There is a south facing garden stretching out on to open farmland offering lovely views out over fields. There is great walking both around the cottage itself where hares, pheasants and deer can often be spotted, and owls heard. Coombe Keynes is just around three miles from Lulworth Cove with its sheltered pebble beach, and within easy range of the dramatic and beautiful Dorset coast including Durdle Door. Good country pubs abound nearby, while restaurants and cinemas can be found less than half an hour away in Dorchester and Wareham. Shops, pubs and other amenities can also be found in Wool which is 1.6 miles away.
