Mistley stands on the river Stour and commands extensive and beautiful views along the Stour and into Suffolk. The railway station is just over the road with direct services to London Liverpool Street and Harwich. Manningtree, England's smallest town, with its vibrant mix of local shops, restaurants and public houses is only a 10 minute walk away along the 'Walls', a shoreline within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
