Ambleside can be reached within 10 minutes walk through the park. Previously the vicarage to Ambleside, the access to the property is by way of electric gates and along a steep, private drive found almost opposite the stepping stones at the entrance to Rothay Park. Walks to Loughrigg Fell, Todd Crag, Grasmere and Rydal can be enjoyed from the doorstep or why not simply enjoy the beautiful 10 acres of mature grounds enabling you to sample woodland walks and a host of flora and fauna such as specimen trees, shrubs, red and grey squirrels and deer.
