Set at the end of a private drive and within spacious, landscaped grounds sits The Hideaway, a comfortable modern bungalow midway between the medieval town of Kendal (3 miles) and the well known town of Windermere (6 miles). The location, just off the A591 is ideal for touring both the Lake and the Dales although once settled within the colourful grounds, its likely that you will want to take in the beautiful gardens or lovely views from the rear across open countryside and to the nearby fells beyond. Staveley is a mile away and has a great selection of traditional pubs, most serving homemade food and local ales.
