An attractive barn conversion, perfect for couples, nestling in a pretty hamlet just a few minutes drive from the fabulous beaches of Croyde and Saunton.
Nestling in the midst of beautiful Devonshire countryside in the pretty hamlet of Darracott The Hop House is a wonderful couples retreat. The idyllic south facing rear garden is a perfect spot to relax and unwind and for enthusiastic walkers there are many footpaths leading directly to Saunton, Croyde and the stunning coastal path. The bright and sunny dining kitchen has four steps up into the stylish living room with comfy seating and wood burning stove, all complemented by cream flagstone flooring. The sofa can convert to a bed if required, ideal for flexible sleeping arrangements. A solid oak staircase rises to the first floor where a double bedroom with lovely views is served by a pristine modern shower room. Guests can take a gentle stroll to nearby village of Georgeham, half a mile away, and find a village shop and Post Office together with The Rock, a traditional 17th century Free House, with a great reputation for good food, or hop in the car to a choice of fabulous beaches. If you are looking for a romantic hideaway or high quality base from which to explore the North Devon Area, the Hop House is a great choice.
