A fabulous contemporary apartment in a wonderful location overlooking the Taw & Torridge Estuary and just a short stroll to the soft sandy beach.

This wonderfully stylish contemporary apartment has a great vantage point over the beautiful Taw Estuary. With sailing boats of all shapes and sizes filling the expanse of water at high tide and a variety of birds on the water's edge, there is always something to see. Sitting in private communal gardens beside The North Devon Yacht Club, The Moorings is conveniently situated on the first floor. An entrance hall leads to the double aspect light and bright open plan living room with kitchen and dining areas. Beautifully furnished to a high standard this spacious room has patio doors which open onto the balcony. With lovely views towards Appledore on the far shore, this is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a morning coffee or admire the spectacular sunsets. The bright modern kitchen area is well equipped and has panoramic views over the river. An internal hallway leads to the two bedrooms, both attractively presented in a contemporary style and with countryside views. The separate modern family bathroom adds a touch of luxury featuring a white suite complemented by slate style flooring. The soft golden sandy beach is ideal for small children with its gentle waters lapping the shore and Instow's pretty Marine Parade which is a short level walk provides an excellent choice of restaurants serving a wide variety of locally caught seafood. There is also a village store with wonderful delicatessen. Walkers and cycling enthusiasts will love the Tarka Trail which runs literally from the doorstep, and a choice of spectacular surfing beaches are just a short drive away. For families or couples at any time of year, The Moorings provides a special holiday retreat in this beautiful area.

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Gas CH. Patio furniture. Regret no pets. No smoking. No cot is provided, please bring your own travel cot. Allocated parking for 1 car plus additional guest parking. Short breaks available. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
