Traditional colours and fabrics have been used throughout to compliment the age of the cottage and fine pieces of antique furniture have been chosen to further add to the whole ambience of this delightful property. Satterthwaite is an ideal base for an activity holiday, whatever your ability and fine walks or cycle rides can be had from Town End Barn to Grizedale Visitors Centre, just over a mile away. The busier resorts of Bowness and Windermere can be reached easily by car and a trip to the Aquarium at Lakeside is well worth a visit. And that all important village pub serving excellent bar meals? Just next door!
