This comfortably furnished 2 bedroom apartment is well named, situated in the heart of Britains favourite view and surrounded by the dramatic scenery that is unique to Wasdale. Only 1/2 a mile from Wastwater where the steep scree slopes tumble into Englands deepest lake. There are walks in every direction from the doorstep, along the valley bottom or onto the high fells, including Sca Fell. For the more adventurous the lake is very popular for diving and the challenging crags are a mecca for climbers. There are a couple of pubs within 3 miles and more amenities in the nearby village of Gosforth. For less strenuous days Seascale, the Cumbrian Coast and several visitor attractions are within easy reach, including Muncaster Castle and the Ravenglass and Eskdale miniature railway (Laal Ratty)
