This picture postcard cottage has the benefit of a truly stunning setting next to the beck at Bridgend, between Ullswater and Brotherswater, an ideal fell walking location close to the Helvellyn range in the heart of the Lake District. The cottage is full of character, with beamed ceilings and beautiful views and walks in every direction. The Kirkstone Pass rises steeply from the valley from where you can drop down to Ambleside, Troutbeck and Windermere and the Lake Steamers at nearby Glenridding give many extra walking options. A village shop and pub offering food menu in Patterdale, 1 mile and convenience store in Glenridding, 2 miles.
