Composed primarily of stone and brick built cottages, Atwick is a small, pretty village clustered around a central village green. The local pub – which also serves meals - lies in the centre of the settlement, whilst the coast and numerous sandy beaches is only a 15 minute walk away. Two miles away is the attractive town of Hornsea boasting golden sands, a leisure complex, Hornsea Folk Museum and a Bird of Prey Display. A further 10 miles away is the bustling town of Bridlington offering traditional seaside attractions for all the family. For those interested in history, the cathedral city of York is also within easy reach and offers numerous shops, restaurants and museums, including the National Railway Museum.
