Llithfaen is a small village, one of the highest on the Llyn Peninsula, on the slopes of the Yr Eifl mountain range. The village boasts superb views, a village pub serving food and the Welsh Language and Heritage Centre at Nant Gwrtheyrn. Four miles away is Nefyn, a seaside town with sandy beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. Within easy driving distance are Pwllheli and Abersoch, and, a little further, Snowdonia National Park.
