Situated within the breathtaking Snowdonia National Park and on the edge of the River Gwril is the delightful village of Llwyngwril. The village boasts a lovely pub, shop and cafe. There are many walks nearby and birdwatchers should head to the area's beaches to see many species of birds. For the more adventurous, the area offers superb climbing, surfing and cycling. A trip from Fairbourne, which has a stunning two mile sandy beach to the popular town of Barmouth on the narrow gauge railway is essential. The market town of Dolgellau, seaside village of Aberdovey and the magnificent Harlech Castle are all nearby.
