Situated on the old coaching road from London to Penzance, this charming village lies in the heart of the Cornish countryside and enjoys peace and quiet in addition to its lovely pub. This quaint little settlement is still within easy driving distance of Newquay as well as some fabulous beaches, the Eden Project, pretty fishing villages, the cathedral city of Truro and the misty reaches of the Cornish coast. The area also hosts numerous coastal trails and so is popular with ramblers and cyclists looking to explore the region. Bird watchers are also well catered for by the colonies of sea birds dotted along the coast. The famous settings for many Celtic myths and legends are also within easy reach, as is Land's End.
