Conveniently situated in the pretty countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds, the village of Nafferton is only two miles from the market town of Driffield and nine miles from the seaside resort of Bridlington. This large village with traditional dwellings is centred around the mere and village greens. Served by four country pubs, a village shop, a post office and a fish and chip shop, Nafferton has plenty on offer. For those looking to explore further afield, the village railway station runs directly to Bridlington, calling later at the popular town of Scarborough. With lots of gentle walks in the area, less experienced ramblers will find the area a great introduction to the sport. Also popular are the stately homes of Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall.
