Templecombe is a village located in idyllic countryside and farmland where east Somerset joins North Dorset, at the heart of the Blackmore Vale. The area offers many attractive views, and the village offers great pubs, village shops and numerous beautiful rural walks. If you like a spot of fly fishing, this can be arranged on the local river with day permits. The ancient town of Sherborne, whose castle was once the home to Sir Walter Raleigh, is only a short drive away, as is the interesting hilltop town of Shaftesbury.
