Set in the heart of the beautiful south Shropshire countryside is the pretty little village of Whitton. Boasting a 10th Century church and well placed to discover the excellent walking and cycling routes through the scenic countryside, this lovely little settlement offers easy access to the Clee, Caradoc and Long Mynd Hills. Church Stretton - known as "Little Switzerland" amongst the locals – is close by and worth visiting for the spectacular views it offers. The nearby medieval market town of Ludlow makes a fascinating day trip with over 500 listed buildings and a wide array of tea-rooms and restaurants – four of which have been awarded Michelin stars. The World Heritage Centre at Ironbridge is close by, as are Stokesay Castle and the Severn Valley Railway.
